SAM INCAPRERA -
Sam began playing for SYSC when she was 6 yo and is now on SYSC's U17 Competitive Tigers' team coached by SYSC's DOC, Ryan Lazaroe. This past year, the team captured the D1 State Championship & represented SYSC well in the President's Cup Regional Tournament, as they finished in 5th place. Sam is a junior at PJP II and plays the center back position for their soccer team.
Sam maintains a 3.7 GPA and is also a mutiple year member on both the cross country & track teams where she recently broke the school record for the 3 mile time and finished 1st at the district meet. She is involved in Students Against Substance Abuse & Ambassador's In Action/Families helping familes.
Sam is extremely interested in continuing her soccer play at the colligiate level. She feels strongly that the soccer opportunities that she currently enjoys are a direct result of SYSC & the soccer coaching staff's training that she has received over the years. For this she is thankful. Playing soccer has taught her how to deal with life's challenges much like those that occur during a soccer match.
