SYSC's SPRING SEASON
Our spring season is underway. Recreational game schedules are posted. We will post registration info on our website in June for the 2012-2013 season.
CAR RAFFLE WINNER- PATRICIA NICHOLSON
On January 11, 2012 the SYSC Board, at its Winter AGM, conducted the much anticipated Car Raffle for the 2011 Toyota Corolla. Special guest, local radio personality, "The Real Robert Mitchell" was on hand to select the winning ticket. Congratulations to Patricia Nicholson of Slidell who purchased the winning ticket!
Congratulations also to Chris Meyer of the U12B Jr. Vipers who sold 51 tickets and the Slidell Galaxy which had the highest team total of sold tickets! Thank you to all of the Club's members who worked so hard to make the raffle a success. Also the Club would like to recognize Cross Gates Fitness Club, and the Chick-Fil-A Northshore Square Mall location who so graciously supported this fund raiser by making their businesses available for the collection and sale of tickets. Finally the Slidell Youth Soccer Club thanks Toyota of Slidell for its assistance and generosity which made this fund raiser possible.

MATTHEW HILKER SOCCER SCHOLARSHIP
Matthew played soccer for many years here at SYSC and was a coach & asst. coach for several SYSC teams. His Dad, Jay Hilker of Notary at Your Service, has notarized our Medical Consent forms for FREE. To honor Matthew's memory and his love for soccer, his family has opened an account at Resource Bank for the Matthew Hilker Soccer Scholarship. The Hilker family will appreciate any donations to the account so that they may keep Matthew's passion for soccer alive in the community.
